Open file - Security Warning appears when you run a file from network share
Enable the Include all network paths (UNCs) setting in Internet Options applet.
Click Start, Run and type INETCPL.CPL
Select the Security tab, Local intranet
Click Sites button
Put a checkmark near the following option:
Include all network paths (UNCs)
Here is a description of the above setting:
Network paths (for example, \\local\file.txt) are typically used for local network content that should be included in the Local Intranet zone. If there are network paths that should not be in the Local Intranet zone, you should clear this option and use other options to designate files that are assigned to the Local Intranet zone.
Note: If you've installed Internet Explorer 7 Beta, you may need to first uncheck the option Automatically detect intranet network option in Local intranet zone settings."

Windows 8 - black screen flickering
Interesting issue, my wife called me and said PC is not coming on black screen did see mouse cursor but now screen just flickers a constant
So first off needed to get into safe mode, well this is pretty tricky, but got around it by booting from DVD going to command prompt and running this command (can be run from X drive so don't change letters)
Bcdedit /set {default} bootmenupolicy legacy
Now Reboot
Now we can press f8 to get to the advanced options, some say shift + f8 to work but it didn't for me
Now in safe mode
Checked event log and problem with desktop window manager has encountered a fatal error
What now?
SFC /scan now did nothing
So check back to when issue started
A critical update was installed, was the last thing, no information though?
so system restoring.....
Had to restore from a previous system restore ....
Had install Google drive, team viewer 8 and sql compact before critical update got installed too but the last thing was a critical update
All working now
Phew took a few hours to fix but painless after now can press f8 again
Also I get this issue at work but with dual screens

lexmark feed problem - resolved
1. Remove the sheets of paper from the feeder.
2. Grab a flashlight and look inside the feeder for any debris or foreign objects.
3. If you’re willing and physically able, you may also turn the printer over. Any debris should just freely roll out from the feeder.
4. If feeder is clear, place the printer back on the table.
5. Re-brick your printer. Pull out the power supply, black box where the power cord is plugged in at the back of the printer, and put it back after 30 seconds.
6. When the printer turns on, try to print a document again to verify that the problem is fixed.
Should the problem persist, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for additional assistance.
